Rapid Gun Systems

Privacy policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026

Rapid Gun Systems is a Rapid POS brand (“Rapid Gun Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect through rapidgunsystems.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, the contact details are at the bottom of this page.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a demo, ask for a quote, chat with us, contact us, or call our team, we collect what you choose to share, such as:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your business name, location, and number of stores
  • Details about your operation, like whether you run a gun store, range, or gunsmith shop, and the systems you use today
  • Anything else you type into a form or chat, or tell us on a call or email

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, and general location (city or region, not your exact address).

Information from others

We may receive business contact information from trade shows, industry partners, or public business sources, and combine it with information you give us.

We do not ask for, and you should not send through the Site, firearms transaction records, ATF Form 4473 data, Social Security numbers, or payment card numbers.

2. How we use it

  • Respond to your demo, quote, and support requests
  • Set up, support, and bill customer accounts
  • Send product updates, event invites (like trade shows), and other marketing you can opt out of anytime
  • Understand which pages and content are useful so we can improve the Site
  • Protect the Site from spam, fraud, and abuse
  • Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

3. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar tools to keep it working, measure traffic, and stop spam. These include Google Analytics (traffic measurement), Google reCAPTCHA (form spam protection), and Zoho SalesIQ (our live chat, which also records basic visit details like pages viewed so our team can help you faster). Google’s use of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy, and Zoho’s by the Zoho Privacy Policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site, like forms, may not work right without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Our Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. See section 10 for how we handle Global Privacy Control.

4. Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send messages about your demo, account, support tickets, and offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call (619) 754-4100.
  • Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

We do not share mobile numbers or text opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except service providers that help us deliver messages.

5. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

  • Service providers who help us run the business, such as CRM, live chat, email, hosting, analytics, and texting vendors. They may only use the information to do work for us.
  • Rapid POS and its affiliates, so we can support you across our product lines.
  • Technology partners needed to deliver what you bought, such as the POS platform provider or an integration you ask us to connect.
  • Legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, customers, or the public.
  • Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. The buyer would have to honor this policy.

6. Data in our POS software

This policy covers the Site and our sales and marketing contact with you. It does not cover the records our customers keep in the Rapid Gun Systems point-of-sale software, such as their customer lists, sales, inventory, eBoundBook entries, and electronic 4473 records.

That data belongs to the dealer, range, or gunsmith who uses our software. We handle it only to provide and support the service, under our customer agreement. If you bought from one of our customers and have a question about your records, please contact that business directly.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections on the Site and access controls on our systems. No website or system is 100% secure, so we can’t promise absolute security. If you think something is wrong, please tell us right away.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, such as while you are a prospect or customer, and as long as the law requires for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. After that, we delete or de-identify it.

9. Your choices

  • Marketing email: click “unsubscribe” in any email.
  • Texts: reply STOP.
  • Cookies: adjust your browser settings.
  • Access or updates: email us and we’ll review, correct, or delete your information where we can.

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still contact you about an active account, order, or support request.

10. State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Get a copy of your personal information
  • Correct information that’s wrong
  • Delete your personal information, with some legal exceptions
  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information, targeted advertising, or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising
  • Not be treated differently for using any of these rights

We do not sell personal information. If we use advertising cookies that count as “sharing” or targeted advertising under state law, we will treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid opt-out request.

To make a request, email or call us using the details below. We will verify your request by matching information you give us to what we have on file. You can use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof that the agent can act for you. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.

In the last 12 months, we have collected the categories of information described in section 1: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial and professional information (business details), and internet activity (Site usage). We collect them from the sources and use them for the purposes listed in sections 1 and 2.

11. Children

The Site is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we’ll make that clear on the Site.

The Site may link to other websites, like social media and partner sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so check their policies too.
